Design Your Life: Business Design Thinking, and Military Planning Processes

Design Your Transition introduces the concept of Design Thinking in business and then makes parallels to the military planning processes and design methodology.

Often veterans struggle to apply their military experience during transition to the civilian business world. While there are a number of transition assistance programs, none of them focus on the parallels of military planning processes and design thinking in business.

Michael McFerron is an Active Duty US Marine serving aboard MacDill AFB. Along with his wife, Monica, they are co-owners of Weekend Navigators a travel agency based out of Tampa, Florida. During his career Michael has served mainly in the communications field and as an operational planner. Michael has earned Masters degrees in Information technology and operational planning.
