ABOUT DISCUSSION

The IT professional struggles and presents mental health distress differently.

In our discussion, we will overview common behavioral health issues such as:

  • What tech pros in particular are prone to
  • How to effectively encourage prevention
  • How to spot warning signs of crisis
  • When to refer out, etc.

We will share some physical exercise recommendations as that is the number one offender to most tech professionals mental health! 👉An additional expert will be joining us for this section👈

ABOUT SPEAKERS

Victoria Hauser finds purpose in client service. She found her calling while serving at HCA in the nurse staffing sector. Now, deeply rooted nationally in the acute care sector, she understands the challenges standard acute care has in being able to wholly treat patients with addiction and is excited to have a solution, such as Future’s for her network. Her enthusiasm, thirst for knowledge and commitment to the highest level of service make her a strong and valuable asset. Victoria prides herself on her responsiveness, however she makes sure to check out from time to time to go paddle-boarding and snorkeling to search for the beautiful sea life of Palm Beach county whenever she gets the chance! She spent time in the IT Staffing sector where she learned about the unique challenges HR professionals face in supporting the health and wellness of their IT staff.

Dr. Ahmed and his brother, Adham, have faithfully served the community of patients at Futures since September of 2015. He is the co-founder of Empowered Wellness & Therapy, an innovative physical therapy practice devoted to assisting substance use disorder treatment providers with complementary services to improve outcomes. Ahmed is a member in good standing of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and has presented on the efficacy of physical therapy to promote and maintain sustained recovery to various audiences. He remains motivated to improve the well-being of patients by reducing pain and teaching techniques that can be repeated post-treatment. Dr. Rashwan’s team includes an Acupuncturist, a Chinese Herbalist, and a Massage Therapist
