The Palm Beach Tech Hackathon is a virtual 24 hour event where participants form teams, vet ideas, create a project, and then present their work to an expert panel of judges. Winners walk away with a combination of cash and in-kind prizes!
Due to COVID-19, this year’s Hackathon will be held completely virtual. We will be using the Remo platform for the main event and additional platforms such as Slack and Zoom for additional communication.
Our theme this year is “Coding For Good” with each project supporting a local South Florida nonprofit. We hope to bring technology and community service together to make an impact for a better world.
Teams will consist of developers, designers, project managers and entrepreneurs, with successful teams having a mix of these areas of expertise. From newly graduated tech students to senior tech leadership – everyone in invited!
Visit our Hackathon web-page for information on speakers, sponsors, coaches and judges. There will also be “The Rules” and “Code of Conduct” which must be read and agreed upon prior to ticket purchase. You can also view our simple FAQ section to help get basic questions answered.
