PLEASE NOTE, this workshop will be delivered virtually through Zoom video, as part of the Hillsborough Community College InLab@HCC.

Due to security concerns we will send a Zoom link 24 hours prior and again one hour prior to the workshop start date and time. Please login to Zoom five minutes prior to the event start time. You will be placed into a virtual “Waiting Room” until the event begins.

This program is for those who need help understanding the basic financial statements you will need for your business or startup. Learn about the profit and loss statement, statement of cash flows, balance sheet, startup budgeting, key performance indicators, basic financial ratio analysis, and much more. This workshop is best suited for someone thinking about starting a business, or already in business that needs to better understand the basics of finance.

Your facilitator is Dr. Andrew Gold, a Wall Street veteran who has a passion for corporate financials, start-up financial needs and enjoys teaching financial literacy to everyone.

In this program, you will learn how to create, interpret and share financial information and documents that are critical to all business success. Also learn to apply financial ratios and key performance measurements to track progress within a business environment.
