Building a Powerful Technology Team in Tampa Bay
Paresh Patel, Chairman/CEO of Tampa-based insurance company HCI Group, Inc., has led the creation of one of the nation’s fastest-growing “insurtech” companies – HCI subsidiary TypTap Insurance.
TypTap, which is launching a national expansion in January, uses sophisticated data to assess homeowners and flood insurance risk on a house-by-house basis. To launch and grow TypTap, HCI has built a team of technology experts that now numbers over 100.
