The Economics of Data

November 19, 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

TWO39 Labs – The Economics of Data – GEW2020

You may be thinking: “But every other presentation I hear nowadays alludes to the value of data exceeding that of oil” and that’s probably true. However, that’s usually the extent and depth the statement goes into. Would you like to know things like:

  • Which industries make the most money from data?
  • How much money is a lot of money?
  • What are the latest trends when it comes to the Economics of data?

I have been asking these questions myself so decided to go get some answers.

Daniel Fernandez is a Senior Product Manager at DomainTools he has over 8 years of experience developing data products including data capture and analytics frameworks, data visualization and business intelligence applications as well as analytics products using ML models for Anomaly Detection and predictive scoring. He is also the host of the Data Basement Podcast, founder of the SWFL Meetup and completing a Masters Degree in Cybersecurity at Georgia Tech.
