Interested in User Experience and Design?

This introductory workshop is designed for individuals who have little to no experience in design. Get an intro to UX/UI by learning how to create an eCommerce mobile prototype in Figma, an industry standard tool for Product Designers.

Follow the UXUI process by creating wireframes, mockups and prototypes in this hands on exercise and tutorial with Gessica from Wyncode Academy.

ABOUT INSTRUCTOR

Known for her commitment to User Centered Design, Gessica Tortolano is currently sharing that knowledge with her students as Head Instructor of the UX/UI Immersive program at Wyncode Academy in Miami Florida. Prior to Wyncode, Gessica worked with some of the biggest brands and tech giants in the world!

While in San Francisco, she helped ​Google​ shorten their purchasing funnel, she brought the value of experimentation and feedback loops to the ​Gap​, and tapped the true value of Voice UX for ​Samsung​. Prior to her West Coast tour of duty, she spent many years working in South Florida where she created solutions for automotive titans and cruise industry organizations and local favorites like the Miami Heat​.

After many years of designing digital products and building strong UX teams within organizations, her focus ​now​ is on nurturing world-class designers, guiding clients and teams through the product design process, and evangelizing the UX gospel.

She believes in solving problems by beginning with a deep understanding of the problem at hand. A problem is clearly stated, is a problem half-solved. Today her goals are clear. Her mission is to create a reputation for South Florida as a place that cannot be ignored, to make South Florida a hub for world-class product designers.

Gessica has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from Emerson College in Boston.
