ABOUT INSTRUCTOR

Ernie Hsiung is the Head Full Stack Web Development Instructor at Wyncode Academy. He is also a Proprietor for Mangrove Labs which provides website, mobile and app development, design services and consulting for organizations at the intersection of open-source technology, education, citizenship, and government who seek to raise the quality of life and services for the citizens of Miami-Dade County and beyond.

Ernie was previously the Head of Technology at WhereBy.Us which is a platform helping people engage with their cities, starting with daily email newsletters. As a technical lead, I oversee and mentor a team of engineers and apprentices, lead product and technical sprints, product management, facilitate sprints, and long-term strategy. I also contribute regularly to the company’s code bases and build tools.
