Initially, St. Pete: OPEN for Business started to help guide those in Saint Petersburg and the surrounding areas toward local businesses that are “essential,” open, or hoping to re-open to serve such a vibrant community in any way they can. It became a community of innovation, where the businesses listed shared how they adapted creatively to their individual situations, regardless of how “essential” the state deemed their activity.
